I was born and raised in Germany. While I have followed an academic path for most of my life, I’ve always been deeply inspired by nature. Being out in the rough ocean, facing the elements, and exploring what it takes to navigate them eventually led me to dedicate my life to surfing and freediving.

For the past 10 years, I’ve lived on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, surfing powerful waves and pursuing freediving with ambition. In 2025, I became the first female big wave surfer from Germany. My journey was captured in the film L E N A, which is currently touring cinemas in Germany, and worldwide, and has been accepted by several global TV platforms for release this fall. That same year, I competed for the first time in the German National Freediving Championships, placing third in the newcomer category.
